Two Positions in California
My department currently has two full-time openings. We are seeking a sociologist, rank open, for the San Diego area, and an Interdisciplinary person -- sociology, anthropology, history, political science, or global studies at our Bakersfield campus. If you are interested or have a graduate student on the market please encourage them to apply. As a reminder, National University does not currently offer tenure, but does offer long-term contracts after the initial review period (I have been here since 1999). I am happy to answer any questions about the job or the collegial environment at NU, or you may simply contact the Chair of the search Committees.
